Chiang Mai is a wonderful place to live. If you'd like to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, nature is only half an hour or so away. Drive up the mountains to Doi Suthep, Doi Saket or Mae Rim or ride through the rice fields close to the city. In Chiang Mai, you'll enjoy visiting many waterfalls, national parks or take short trips to places like Chiang Dao, Pai and Chiang Rai.
